We saw these guys in Central Park, they weren't great dancers, but they were great gymnists and they were halarious!

Central Park

Last Sunday Jason and I went to Central Park after church. We brought some food and a blanket, it was such a beautiful day, but the park was packed with tourists from all over the world. The last time we went to the park it wasn't so crowded, but this time it was Memorial Day weekend. We saw a lot of people from Brazil and I talked to some people from Spain. It was really neat to hear all the languages everywhere you went from all over the world! The people I met from Brazil told us to tell Scott hi (they don't know him, but they were friendly!) We randomly ran into Camille and Tiffany by the castle, huge park, thousands of people, and we found them, random!

New York! New York!!!!

So one day I just decided to go explore the city by myself while Jason was at work. I hopped on the 7 train which is really close to our house and got off at 5th Ave. I just walked all around midtown to downtown Manhattan. It was really cool, I mostly stuck to Broadway and Ave. of the Americas. I went to the Flat Iron building, I saw the Empire State building, I went to Washington Square park (which is under construction), and Ground Zero. Then I went to Battary Park and took a the Staten Island Fairy to see the Statue of Liberty. It was a great day and the city was beautiful!

Graduation

So I kinda sorta graduated from BYU this April, I still have my student teaching in DC in the Fall, which I am very excited for, but they allowed me to walk anyway since I'm not coming back to Utah any time soon, as far as I know! It was great. I got to see James and Megan's family and Annie came with the kids because her sister was graduating also. I always love seeing my nieces and nephews!!! Brian and my parents also flew in from Iowa to be there, it was a really special weekend for me! Let me tell you, everyone should have someone like Brian at their graduation, he's a good yeller, even if Dean Rosenberg asks you to hold your applause. :) Thanks Brian!!! Shannon graduated too, we've been through a lot together the last few years, we've been through it all since Freshman year: first two years of college, missions, post-mission life, and she was at my wedding! I love that girl and miss her a lot!! Adam, Jason's brother, Adam, also came to see me walk. He did a great job representing the Borg :). We've really miss hanging out with him since we moved away from Provo. It was an exciting and kinda sad day all at once when I graduated, not just because it was snowing in late April... but because I really will miss BYU and living there in a lot of ways.

So here are a couple of pictres that I just haven't really had time to put up! Sorry for the long wait, don't even know if anyone looks at this blog anymore... but I'll give it a shot! This is the last district I taught at the MTC. They were amazing!!! All went to California, they were translated to their mission... they were the most amazing missionaries that I have ever worked with at the MTC, no joke. I miss them a lot and miss my job a lot!!! It was a really special place.
