Visit to Texas

We had an amazing trip to Texas to attend Heidi's graduation and visit with Jason's family that is still there. It was really fun to chill with them, watch movies, and attend various fiestas celebrating all major rites of passage (a quinceƱera, a wedding, graduations of course, a funeral (Hughy the fish :( and a baby shower!) What a trip! We are so excited to have Jason's sister Stephanie with us for two weeks at the beginning of July and we are sad we aren't in Provo anymore to hang out with Heidi as she attneds her first year at BYU in June! (Congratulations Heidi!)
I made friends at the beach with this little latino boy. We made mini castillos (castles), the huge castle to the right was Jason's pride! He's an expert castle builder! :)

It was very very hot and humid and so it was pretty much awesome to hang out at Lake Lewisville. I got to lay on my stomach too!!!!

Jason boogieing with his sister Stephanie at the wedding.

30 weeks!

Jason's sisters gave us a crazy amount of clothing (and other things) for a Borg baby shower! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Between them and Megan (my sister-in-law) I'm feeling a lot less stressed about clothing little Awesomesauce.

Another Trip to Denver

We went to Denver again for only a few days to go with my brother Brian as he went to the temple for the first time in preparation for his mission. My cousin Mark Sawyer was also getting married the same weekend, so it worked our very well to see cousins I haven't seen for a long. It was a pretty crazy trip though. Here's Brian and David just after the wedding. I hadn't seen David for a year either, I really missed his wife and kids though, they couldn't make it.
The lucky guy with his beautiful new bride!
In front of the Denver Temple, probably the last day
I'll be wearing that shirt for a few weeks... a little tight!
My mom and her sister with their hubbies.

I got to see one of my old roommates, Alicia, I haven't seen for more than 2 years who lives close to the Denver Temple. She is also expecting, but in about 5 more weeks. I have a little less than 11 to go!

Oh What a Beautiful Day!

Saturday my parents and I worked in their rather huge and hilly yard building some retaining walls. It was actually a ton of fun. It was interesting to lift some of those huge 70 lb stones though... My mom's right arm was hurt, my dad's left arm was hurt, and I have baby boy Borg in me and my mom pretty much forbade me from lifting the really heavy ones. We got a lot done but it was MUCH easier when Jason came home from work and was able to help us. I'd say with his muscle we got everything done about twice as fast! It was a beautiful day in Davenport and the yard looks even better now.

My mom is pretty excited for her new gardening areas

Jason's teaching Lizzie to chisel stones

So just as a side note, cuz I'm sure I'm a little crazy for being excited about my belly bump, here are a few shots from the past two months. I'm about 27 or 28 weeks pregnant right now. My next ultrasound is next Tuesday and I get to see him again, my favorite!!!! In about 2 weeks I'll be 30 weeks! Holy cow!!! I'm so stinking excited. He moves a TON and I can see push around my belly everyday. I love it!!!

After a class at the good ol' YMCA. This was the first day a stranger said something about my belly to me!

Easter and 5 months!

My Aunt Beth and Uncle Dave came to visit for a few days. It was so great to see them and fun to hear mom and Beth talking about their memories and telling funny stories. Here are the sisters.
Here's the best shot of everyone together on Easter Sunday. Pretty good lookin' group huh? :)
I love all of my nieces and nephews, but it sure is fun to get to know Sammie, Peter, and Lizzie so well while we are here.
5 months!!! Sorry it's not more of a profile so you can see it better, we'll try to get another one soon.

Brian and Peter are studs huh? Peter picked out their Easter clothes; he really wanted to match his cool Uncle Brian.

Baby Borg

Today I had my much anticipated 20 week ultrasound appointment and I was very excited to find out if baby Borg would be a boy or a girl. Well, we went in at 9AM and the doctor took a look and declared that she was 100% sure, no doubt about it, it's a BOY! We're so happy!!! The best news for me... apparently I knocked down a few days too. My projected due date was Aug 20th. However, that was a guess too because we got pregnant right after I stopped taking my birth control and never had a regular menstrual cycle. The doctors went ahead and guessed based on my last blank pill but after my first ultrasound at 12 weeks the baby showed the measurements as being due Aug. 14th. Today's ultrasound put the baby at Aug 9th. They said I'm basically 22 weeks pregnant according to today's ultrasound but to go ahead with that Aug. 14th date. So whatever I am, I'm feeling great and starting to show a little, I'll post those pictures maybe when I have something more to show, there's not much yet. (I am pretty tall and it's my first remember.) Enjoy the shots!

This is an awesome shot of his little head, he's lying sideways facing the ultrasound
Here is the bottom of one of his little feet.
This is my favorite picture. He's curled up in.. can you guess... fetal position and you can see his whole spine and his little rump sticking up a bit.
