Santiago tres :)

This is a park in Las Condes Santiago, one of Becca's more wealthy areas. The park pretty cool, it's brand new so the trees are all very small and the park will just get better with time. The park also had a pond and we saw some black neck swans. This picture is of a nice view of the Las Condes skyline from a hill near the Maipo River. One of the families from an area of southern Santiago Becca knew moved to a small town outside of the city called Pirque. They invited us over to their house for the afternoon and we slept in their home that night. It was really nice to get out of the busy city for a day and go swimming under the stars. On the way there we saw these real Chilean cowboys riding down the side of the road.
In downtown Santiago there is an old fort that they've built a park around now called Cerro Santa Lucia. It is one of the oldest things in Santiago and has a nice view of the downtown area from the very top.
